Okay, the stars were cute, but now they're obnoxious. I have to try another theme. Something a little more tame.

In the end, I chose one of these two https://www.dreamwidth.org/customize/?layoutid=545434 and then customised the colours a bunch because they are very readable on mobile, which is how I often check on the site!
